    Built-in AEC* Assistance (BiAA)

      The CXDI-Elite series enables automatically terminated exposures without the need for an additional receptor (ion chamber, solid state paddle, etc.).

      ・ There are five or nine AEC Regions of Interest (ROI) depending upon model.
      ・ The Flat Panel Detector (FPD) can detect the accumulated pixel value that corresponds to received X-rays in realtime at each AEC ROI and notify the X-ray generator when the pixel value reaches the present value.
      This function works via both wireless and wired communication, which enables the optimization of X-ray dose without an external AEC sensor, even in free-position imaging, such as from the bedside.
      ※Option software solid separately and Multibox (MB-02) are required.

      • AEC stands for Automatic Exposure Control.
        Exposure termination is controlled by the X-ray generator. This feature requires connection to the manufacturers' system. In an environment with exceptionally strong radio interference, it may be recommended to use a wired rather than wireless connection. As with any AEC operation, appropriate exposure factors with a reasonable backup time should be set.

      BiAA contributes to proper dose stability

      CXDI-Elite detectors deliver optimum image quality at minimum dose, with instant reproduction of imaging data, providing maximum information for minimum effort. Built-in AEC* provides a better control over X-ray dose.

      Even in environments where re-imaging is difficult, such as in an operation room, BiAA enables imaging at the appropriate dose, minimizing the risk of re-imaging.

      Even though it is equipped with a replaceable battery, the CXDI-Elite detector weighs only 2.5kg, and has deep recesses of approximately 9mm on three sides of the back panel, making it easy to carry.

      Designed to meet high standards for dustproofing and waterproofing, smooth investigations can be carried out with the CXDI-Elite detector, even in harsh conditions.

      • This is based on the test conditions set by certification authorities, and does not guarantee against any damage or failure.
      • If the product is subjected to impact such as being dropped or bumped, it may not be able to maintain its water resistance equivalent to IP57.
