“The Best Image” is an event organized by Canon Medical Systems corporation in Japan. It is an initiative to select and share images that contribute to the advancement of diagnostic imaging technology and the development of medical care. This event was launched in 1993 and is held annually.
In particular, the awards are comprehensively evaluated based on clinical value, including image quality, benefits to patients, and techniques and innovations that are significant for diagnosis and treatment.  The best images are shared widely among medical facilities.
