Right: Ceiling-suspended system, Left: Floor-to-ceiling system

Ceiling-suspended

Auto-Collimator (factory option)*
Auto-Collimation accelerates patient positioning and reduces radiation exposure by automatically selecting the proper field-of-view for each cassette size.

* Configuration can vary by local region

Auto-Tracking (factory option)
With the Auto-Tracking option installed, the movements of tube and detector are automatically coordinated to maintain proper centering. The result is fast and accurate positioning without the extra time and effort needed to make manual adjustments.

Floor-to-celling type

Versatile budget configuration

Easy operation
Radrex is designed with the user’s needs in mind. Next to its flexible positioning characteristics, generators are provided with microprocessor and memory functions so various parameters can be registered and retrieved with a single click.

Advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine, Intelligent NR Inside

Canon’s new AI processing utilizes deep learning on a pre-trained model to reduce noise in X-ray images. AiCE will provide radiologists high-quality diagnostic images containing significant less grainy noise with no noticeable loss of details.

Built-in AEC Assistance

Built-in AEC Assistance allows for automatically terminated exposures without the use of an additional receptors (ion chamber, solid state paddles, etc.)
This feature works via both wireless and wired communication.

Radiography with AEC can be performed in free positions, such as on the tabletop, in the lateral or axial position, etc.

Intuitive operation, optimal clinical result

Radrex i5 / Flex Edition is powered by Canon’s next generation wireless detectors and imaging software. The ultra-lightweight, waterproof detectors with integrated battery and image storage can be used inside the system or stand-alone as needed.

Common user interface
Canon's entire DR product range shares a common user interface — a major advantage for training, operator comfort and familiarity. Individual optimization of the user interface is also available, allowing numerous configuration options.

Automated dose reporting
With DICOM compatibility, including structured dose reporting, the software enables cross-platform connectivity and automatic patient dose reporting.

Optimized workflow
With tools such as the advance edge enhancement option and a wide range of configurations the system can easily handle daily routine as well as more complex exams.

Detachable grid for FPD
The FPD grid is detachable and comes attached with a scatter correction option.
For imaging of the extremities and pediatrics, the exposure dose can be reduced by removing the grid and selecting the optimum X-ray conditions.
