The couch top can be lowered to a minimum height of 312 mm for facilitating patient loading and transfer from a wheelchair or bed.

The spacious 780 mm wide bore and 470 mm wide patient couch allow comfortable scanning for large patients.

SURESubtraction CT

In CTA examinations Angiography SURESubtraction CT (SCT) has the ability to remove bone, calcium and stents from data sets allowing clinicians an unobstructed view of the arteries.
Moreover, SURESubtraction can create iodine mapping SURESubtraction CT (SCT) to enable the assessment of the distribution of contrast media within the body to visualize local perfusion.

SURESubtraction SCT has protocol integrated automation at every step to empower even a novice operator with the skills to perform brilliantly the first time — every time.

Prior to subtraction, Canon's deformable registration allows pixel matching between the pre-contrast and contrast enhanced data for precise digital subtraction and iodine mapping, saving time and improving diagnostic accuracy.

SEMAR

Canon's SEMAR (Single Energy Metal Artifact Reduction) utilizes a sophisticated iterative reconstruction technique to reduce metallic artifact, improving visualization of implants, supporting bone and the adjacent soft tissues for a clearer and more confident diagnosis. SEMAR can be set in the scan protocol so the reconstructions are fully automatic requiring no additional operator input.

Variable Helical Pitch

Unique Canon scan mode that allows a single helical acquisition with a seamless change of helical pitch. 3 clinically adapted pitch settings can be used within one helical scan.
