Summary

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, particularly in medical imaging is growing at an exponential rate. However, social and economic barriers to health are also increasing, impeding equal opportunities for everyone to achieve optimal health. Three key factors are crucial for promoting health equity: quality of care, access and cost efficiency. While AI in radiology presents numerous opportunities, it also brings challenges. Responsible implementation of AI may help us to navigate through obstacles and level the ground for healthcare provision. This webinar will delve into the dual nature of AI through the lens of healthcare equity.
