Toshiba Medical's CT System Aquilion ONE / GENESIS Edition Wins Gold Award at Green Apple Environment Awards 2017 in the UK.

Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation (TMSC) (headquarters: Otawara, Tochigi, Japan; President: Toshio Takiguchi) has won the JAPAN INNOVATION GOLD WINNER award for our CT system Aquilion ONE™ / GENESIS Edition. This system was selected from among more than 500 nominations at The International Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice 2017 held by The Green Organisation, a nonprofit organization in the UK.

Toshiba Medical and University of Bordeaux Start a Collaborative Research and Development MRI Partnership

Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation (President: Toshio Takiguchi; Headquarters: Otawara, Tochigi, Japan) and the University of Bordeaux (President: Manuel Tunon de Lara, Location: Bordeaux, France) entered an agreement to conduct a collaborative research and development MRI partnership. Installation of the Vantage Galan™ 3-Tesla system, incorporating high resolution image technologies that are currently under development, was completed on November 21st.

Toshiba Medical’s Next-Generation MRI System Installed in Science + Technology Park at Johns Hopkins

Toshiba Medical’s Vantage Galan™ 3T MR system has been installed in a new research facility, named “CAIRS” (Center for Advanced Imaging Research and Science), as part of the Science + Technology Park at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Md. A ribbon cutting opening ceremony was held at the newly opened center.
