Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation (TMSC; headquarters: Otawara, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan; President: Toshio Takiguchi) has concluded contracts with ZAO “Roentgenprom” (headquarters: Moscow, Russia; Chairman of the Board of directors: Nikolay Blinov) through its subsidiary, ZAO “Toshiba Medical Systems” (headquarters: Moscow, Russia; General director: Rustam Bakhtiozin), regarding licensing and subcontracting production of medical equipment (CT scanners), and will begin manufacturing pending all necessary approvals from the Russian authorities.
