After graduating from King's College London, and completing MRCP (internal medicine), Prof Rockall trained in radiology at St Mary's Hospital and University College Hospital, London. She was awarded the Rohan Williams (Gold) Medal for the FRCR. Following appointments at Barts and The London NHS Trust and the Royal Marsden Hospital, she took up her current position at Imperial College London in 2018. Her clinical interest is genito-urinary imaging. She contributes widely to undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialist radiology education and is passionate about sustainability in healthcare. She has served as Chair of the Female Pelvic Imaging group of ESUR and ESR value-based radiology committees, is a member of ORADS steering committee, and currently the President of the European Society of Radiology.
Panelist: Dr. Merel Huisman
Radiologist and Researcher, Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen, the Netherlands

Merel Huisman, MD, PhD, MSc is a radiologist at Radboud University Medical Center with a background in clinical epidemiology. She earned her PhD from Utrecht University, focusing on MR-guided HIFU for bone metastases, where she also completed her radiology residency. Her clinical interests include cardiothoracic, musculoskeletal, and acute radiology. Huisman has specialized in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Since 2019, she is a EuSoMII Board Member and founded the EuSoMII Young Club for interdisciplinary networking. In 2021, she received the AuntMinnie 'Rising Star' Award for her contributions to the AI community. She also serves as an Associate Editor of Radiology: Artificial Intelligence and is on its Trainee Editorial Board Advisory Panel. Known for her meta-level knowledge, she is recognized as an inspiring lecturer and a global connector.
