In December 2010, Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation reached a new milestone with the manufacture of its 25,000th CT system.

The 25,000th CT, an Aquilion ONE™ system, will be installed at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center in The Netherlands. Toshiba and Radboud University will collaborate on a variety of CT research projects. "Toshiba's vision for future CT applications closely matches our vision of how CT will continue to improve patient care." said Dr. Mathias Prokop, Professor of Radiology at Radboud University. "Based on this common vision and our collaboration we expect that the combination of our clinical knowledge and Toshiba's technical excellence will help refine existing applications and speed up the development of new and revolutionary clinical features."
