Toshiba' CT Production Reaches to 30,000 Systems

Otawara, Tochigi, Japan, November 30, 2013 - In November 2013, Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation reached a new milestone with the manufacture of its 30,000th CT system.

"Since our first CT system in 1978, Toshiba has continuously offered leading, innovative products based on the clinical needs of our customers," said Wataru Taguchi, general manager of the CT Systems Division, Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation. "We will continuously strive to spread dynamic volume CT Aquilion ONE™ which has been changing clinical pathways for variety of diseases, and to achieve the minimum patient dose by variety of dose reduction technology such as AIDR 3D."
