Canon Medical Systems to introduce, their next-generation interventional flagship system, Alphenix.

April 13, 2018 - Canon Medical Systems Corporation (President: Toshio Takiguchi; Headquarters: Otawara, Tochigi, Japan) announces today commencement of Japan sales of its next-generation family of interventional system, Alphenix, after receiving approval from the Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. The system incorporates innovative new technology to deliver images with greater clarity and precision, including a high-definition flat panel detector. The new Alphenix system also combines industry-leading dose optimization technologies, an enhanced and new feature set, and improved workflow to support healthcare professionals in treating patients safer, better and faster.

Alphenix interventional systems will be introduced at the International Technical Exhibition of Medical Imaging (ITEM) at Yokohama, Japan from Friday, April 13th to Sunday 15th.
