The Future of Diagnostic Imaging : Multi-position CT
A CT scanner like you’ve never experienced before--This novel system is the first CT which can support standing, sitting and supine positions.
The system is capable of seamlessly transforming between these positions in under 60 seconds. In the standing position scan, the patient does not need to get on or off the bed, reducing the burden on both the operator and the patient and improving examination throughput.
By scanning in the standing position, it becomes possible to detect abnormal lesions that may not be visible in conventional supine scans, potentially improving the patient’s quality of life.
